BPTSP DKI Terima Aduan Kasus KDRT

BPTSP Ready to Receive Domestic Violence Complaints

Starting this year, Jakarta One-Door Integrated Service Agency (BPTSP) does not only serve the licensing, but also resident complaints. One of them is complaint of domestic violence.

All complaints concerning public matters, we should receive and respond it, like as domestic violence

According to Noor Syamsu, Head of Jakarta BPTSP delivered that on the sidelines of a sudden inspection on January, Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama instructed his ranks to receive any form of complaint from the public. It required to be followed up through PTSP officers in each urban village, sub-district and mayor office.

"All complaints concerning public matters, we should receive and respond it, like as domestic violence," he uttered, Monday (1/12).

He furthered the Integrated Service Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A) will be involved to assist the BPTSP. "When we receive complaint, our men have to find related units to handle it," he stated.

Syamsu explains the BPTSP arguably only served as a liaison for the other matters outside of licensing, including case of domestic violence. "We're just as a liaison, instead of probing the case," he stressed.

On January 21, his side is scheduled to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) accompanied by the P2TP2A regarding domestic violence report in the PTSP.

"We ask the P2TP2A to send a psychologist to the PTSP.  It is up to them, whether the psychologist remains stay here every day or once a week," he uttered.

Jakarta BPTSP, he continued, would also prepare a consultation room in the office for the psychologist to resolve the complaint. "We must be ready to answer any complaint," he finished.
